This posting is for a Traveling Mechanic 2/C

Requirements:
Two year mechanical degree, equivalent discipline or two to three years of closely related experience. Technical knowledge courses in drafting and machine shop practices are desirable; must be able to understand power plant equipment, its purpose and cycle of operation; will be required to provide information and assistance in writing reports; excellent interpersonal skills and function as a team member in a group of traveling mechanics in performing maintenance and repair of plant mechanical equipment, system valves, valve operators, pumps, motors, air compressors, generators, turbines, gear reducers, heat exchangers, condensers, etc.. Be responsible for safe keeping and security of assigned tools and materials. Must possess a basic knowledge of computer use. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to our nuclear sites and adhere to a fitness for duty program. Candidates with education or experience may be hired at a higher job value.

Qualifications

Power Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) aptitude testing is required for this position.
