CT Specialist Job In Lodi California

The Position:

Under general supervision and direction of the Operations and Maintenance Supervisor and general direction of a Lead Combustion Turbine Specialist: operates, controls, and accurately, reliably and safely maintain mechanical and electrical equipment assets at the Combustion Turbine Facilities.  Must be experienced with DCS, PLC, CEMS and gas/steam turbine controls systems, both the hardware and software sides.

Examples of Job Duties:

Level IV- Electrical/Mechanical Duties and Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of machine shop safety including the use of hand and power tools.
• Repair / replace lighting, gauges, indicators.
• Perform repairs or adjustments to equipment, adjust valve packing.
• Perform or assist in the performance of equipment alignments.
• Join and assemble pipe.
• Replace gaskets and lubricate equipment.
• Assist or perform mechanical and electrical repairs and overhaul of pumps, compressors, valves, motors and other equipment.
• Performs electrical maintenance and testing on power plant equipment and systems

Level V- Technical Duties and Responsibilities

• Calibration of pressure, flow, temperature and level transmitters.
• Use of electrical testing equipment.
• Use of vibration monitoring equipment.
• Reading blueprints, schematics and symbols.
• Fully capable to operate and maintain all the Combustion Turbine Facilities.

Minimum Requirements

This is a Journey Level position that requires at least demonstrated experience in the above job duties and ability to maintain the mechanical and electrical equipment at a Combustion Turbine Plant. Also requires possession of an unrestricted Class C California operator’s license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles.  More information about the job duties and benefits are available at www.ncpa.com. under Human Resources.
