Job Description
AREA MANAGER – MEDICINE HAT – ALBERTA 2010-02-057
Specific Responsibilities:


§ R esponsible for managing, developing, and directing area activities and personnel to successfully deliver field client services.
§ Responsible for developing and maintaining business/revenue within the area.
§ Liaising with other Area Managers to coordinate resources and ensure quality service delivery at all times.
§ Judgment and initiative necessary to identify priorities, resolve problems, adapt to change and choose the most efficient way to do the work.
§ Align priorities with general management strategy and key objectives
§ Highly credible when interacting with clients


Specific Qualifications:

§ Journeyman Trade Certification or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
§ Minimum of 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas service industry
§ Solid electrical background and instrumentation experience would be an asset
§ Experience in managing materials, labour and equipment.
§ Strong knowledge of CEC codes and standards
§ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
§ Knowledge of related construction disciplines, operation of tools, and project management experience
§ Possess highly developed negotiation skills and exceptional customer service skills.
§ Excellent computer skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
