Job Description

Credit Risk Management Summer Intern

American Electric Power Company, Inc. engages in wholesale energy marketing and trading activities and other business development within the energy sector.   AEP has an opening for a summer intern who will be involved in a portfolio review of trading and marketing counterparties and may participate in other credit risk management projects.   This internship is an opportunity to gain valuable experience with an industry leader.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

First-year MBA candidate preferred, junior-ranking undergrad business majors (Finance / Accounting / Economics) considered; 3.0 GPA; good verbal and written communication skills; and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.   U.S. citizens or permanent residents preferred.
