Job Description
  • Application Engineering & Interface engineering with multiple equipments
    (Switchgeaar, Transformer & Protection), preferably of ABB make
  • Familiarity with
    - Protection Single Line & Key Line diagrams
    - Detailed engineering for protection panels, local control cubicles
    and switchgear systems incl. layout, BoM for HV, MV & LV
    systems.
    - Interlock Systems, Load transfer-, Auto Change Over-, OLTC-,
    AVR-, Permissive & Blocking- schemes.
    - Interpanel Cable- & Internal Wiring Schedules
  • Experience in Method of Statement write up for modification works
  • Know How of
    - Calculation of AC/DC distribution / loading,
    - Cable seizing and Voltage Drop,
    - CT and VT sizing, CVT and IVT Network Anlysis
    - TF and BB stability calculations
    - E/F Calculations with stabilizing resistor and metosilis
    - Setting calculations, grading and coordination
    - Protection Selectivity, Network analysis


Knowledge , Skill and Experience
  • Be an experienced Engineer who can plan and problem solve independently;
  • Be in possession of a BSc or equivalent Diploma in Electrical Engineering;
  • Have 5 to 10 years of experience with Protection and Control / SCS systems
  • Have a solid understanding of power transmission and distribution at all voltage levels
  • Have thorough technical competence in the field of Substation Automation, knowledge of ABB product s is an advantage
  • Be an analytical thinker; Be able to work under pressure, handle stress and have the ability to use own initiative.
