Job Description
Position Summary Summer internship involving job shadowing of various duties in all departments at High Bridge Generating Station in St. Paul. Work with a department to perform tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements At least 16 years of age when work commences at Xcel Energy Current High School student at Johnson High School (Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors and graduating Seniors may apply) Interest in power plant operations, skilled trades or engineering is desired. Must have reliable mode of transportation to and from work site at High Bridge Generating Station. The internship will run from approximately the end of the current school year to the start of the next this fall. Time off accomodations can be made for family or other needs.
