Job Description
Primarily responsible for managing, coordinating and executing the monthly accounting close process for Energy Holdings and its subsidiaries as well as providing support for the issuance of the initial earnings flash to senior management and other internal associates. Manage all aspects of the accounting and reporting for Energy Holdings’ portfolio of energy related investments. Research and apply applicable accounting guidance on transactions as they arise. Act as liaison with internal and external auditors for matters related to Energy Holdings. Assist and lead special projects as necessary.

Manage and direct approximately four to six staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting and current CPA certification
• Five to ten years of well developed accounting and industry related experience
• Must have Supervisory skills
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, including accounting for equity method investments, consolidation accounting, lease accounting and accounting for rate regulated entities
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and results
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to relate to and understand accounting, reporting and information systems
• Strong internal control, business and financial background


Desired Qualifications:

• Regulatory accounting and reporting experience
• SAP general ledger experience
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred)
