Job Description
M&A manager's main task is to ensure M&A transactions initiated within the Group are properly managed.
It involves:
  • Challenging the business case (strategic and financial rationales) established by the Business Units ("BUs")
  • Supporting BUs in the structuring of the transaction
  • Preparing/reviewing presentations to be made to required approval committees
  • Performing BP review and valuation exercise
  • Organizing and coordinating Due Diligences
  • Negotiating key agreements
  • Initiating integration at Corporate level
  • Coordinating actions to be launched/implemented between signing and closing
  • Coordinating post-closing analysis

And obviously:
Managing external investment bankers (if any)

Graduate from a top-tier Engineering or Business School
An MBA from one of the leading Business Schools and/or dual technical/business background would be a strong bonus
Seven to ten years experience in Investment Banking or Corporate M&A
An international profile and experience
