Job Description
The Project Surveyor will be the interface between Mapping & Surveying’s internal and external clients and the CAD and Survey Techs. The selected candidate will be responsible for meeting with the clients to determine the scope of a project and then planning and scheduling the required field survey work, mapping or plan production activities and ultimately the review and signing of documents under the candidates New Jersey Survey License. The candidate will manage the work of the CAD and Survey Technicians assigned to that project. More broadly provide Surveys and Mapping support for all Corporate activities requiring land surveying including, but not limited to, sales and purchases of real estate, design and construction projects, permitting, legal support.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Associates degree in Land Surveying or related field;
• Licensed NJ Professional Land Surveyor;
• 10 years demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Project management and organizational skill.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Experienced with utility/ROW surveying.
• Experience managing consulting land surveyors. Self directed team player.


Desired Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP).
ESRI GIS. MicroStation. 3D Laser Scanning (Leica).
