Electrical Engineer / Designer Specific Responsibilities Design low voltage control panels Verify and approve drawings and designs Lead design efforts to reduce cost and increase quality Work towards the overall goals for profitability, on-time delivery and quality Responsible for CSA and UL certification Create and/or review quotations Lead product development according to the business unit request Establish and improve engineering processes Qualifications Electrical engineering knowledge with a 3-5 years experience preferably in panel or control system assembly (low voltage control). Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Member of OIQ mandatory Knowledge of motor control drives and custom enclosed products an asset Knowledge of CSA & UL is required Experience in product development and design Knowledge of ERP system (SAP preferable), Autocad and MS-Office Good analytical skills Leadership, team spirited and Autonomous Bilingual – French and English (spoken and written) ABB is an Employment Equity Employer and values a diverse workforce.
