Intern - Nuclear System Engineer Job In Monticello Minnesota

Summary

Assist Engineering Staff with conducting system engineering responsibilities. These include monitoring system performance, develop/update long range life cycle plans. In addition, upon proper qualifications the individual would assist in system level troubleshooting/problem resolution and prepare engineering documentation changes.

Requirements

• Applicant must be enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program.
• Pursuing Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Civil/Structural Specialty.
• Progressed at least through the sophomore year (junior year status in the Fall).
• Coursework in power generation or an interest in the power industry is desirable.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• The applicant must be self-motivated and must be able to work safely in a power plant environment (industrial actvities, stairs, grating, heights, confined spaces, heat and noise).
