Summary
Performs all requirements & responsibilities to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services to operating units. Steward of the corporate physical inventory at assigned locations and responsible for the accuracy and condition of such inventory.

Essential Responsibilities

• Utilize Passport software for all storeroom transactions to include: issues, returns, transfers, receiving reports, purchase requisitions, and bin locations.
• Utilize established safe work practices and attend safety meetings. Maintain good housekeeping in all stores areas. Responsible for filling all Material Requests and staging them according to job schedule received from area Coordinator. Responsible for creating p.o. orders and filing in open or closed p.o. cabinets.
• Interface with operating departments to reconcile materials, Supply chain buyers for material expediting, substitutions and special orders and coordinators for material need date management and job scheduling.
• Maintain proper stocking levels, to include demands plus inventory required for walk up issues, maintenance and emergencies. Identify slow moving materials
• Performs Cycle Counts on a daily basis.
• Initiates claims against vendors & carriers and prepares documentation.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in inventory management

Preferred

• Forklift certificate or experience
• Experience with cycle counts
