Job Description
Summary
This position is responsible for supervising procurement engineering personnel and buyers as well as performing procurement engineering activities to support the Fleet. Supervision includes technical mentoring, technical review of work products, coaching associated with performance with a goal of assuring the availability and accuracy of spare parts and materials to safely operate the site.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and personnel leadership and coaching to the procurement engineering and buyer staff. This includes mentoring of new personnel and existing personnel to new technologies.
  • Provide back up/overflow procurement engineering support.
  • Identify and implement process changes/improvements to site and fleet processes and procedures.
Required
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferrably with a Mechanical or Electrical emphasis. Must have experience with evaluating and solving engineering issues; professional engineering certification is preferred and a minimum 3 years of nuclear experience is desired.
