Job Description
This posting is to identify candidates for future openings in Odessa and Guadalupe Texas. Candidates will be required to travel to test site in Odessa or Guadalupe at their own cost. The POSS/MASS test which is approximately three hours long, was designed and validated to predict success in plant operator work, plant maintenance work, and plant instrumentation and control work. Test results remain valid indefinitely unless/until either test standards are changed and/or a new validated testing process is implemented. The following are examples of PSEG job titles related to the POSS component of the POSS/MASS test posting): Plant Operator Mechanical Maintenance Technician Instrument and Controls Technician Instrument and Electrical Technician Technical Operator (Instrument & Electrical Tech) Required: High school graduate or equivalent or trade school or related military service training programs or technical training school programs. Minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience in power generation facilities or similar industrial facilities and field. Must receive an acceptable score on the Poss/Mass test. Desired: Additional professional training. *Additional experience with machinery repair and control systems preferred.
