Job Description

Live, work and play in the mountains of Colorado!

We are looking for an experienced Service Fitter to join our gas meter operations team in Silverthorne, Colorado. Successful applicant will work with our residential, commercial and industrial customers and will be responsible for supporting and meeting regulated gas metering requirements, including the installation, maintenance and inspection of all gas meters, regulators, mains, services and odorization equipment. Daily responsibilities will vary and could include operating trenching/excavating equipment and tools to install gas mains & services, response to routine and emergency customer calls, valve maintenance & PE fusion, locating & meter-reading, as well as evaluating the operational effectiveness of gas-fired appliances and equipment.



Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED and must have knowledge of and training in the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Operator Qualification rules. Must also possess a current and valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL) Class A and DOT Medical Card. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 90 lbs safely and must successfully pass a Gas Respirator Qualification test. Successful candidate will also be required to live within 30 miles and/or 30 minutes of the Summit County service center. Position is subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing.
