General Manager - Construction Job In Sarasota Florida

Structural Preservation Systems, a Structural Group Company, is a technology-oriented, forward thinking, rapidly growing national industry leader in the repair, strengthening, and upgrading of large commercial and industrial facilities. Projects include industrial plant maintenance and modifications, parking garages, high rise, commercial buildings, and other major structure retrofits.

We are looking for a hands-on General Manager to provide leadership and vision to our growing SPS business in Sarasota, FL. You will actively participate in managing day-to-day operations, including: Business Planning, P& L, Contract Management, Risk Management, Human Resources, Collections, Job Cost, Cash Flow Analysis, Resource Management and Business Development. The successful candidate must possess 10 + years of experience with a self perform contractor in the Power/Utility industry, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of job financial management systems and contract terms & conditions. Individuals must also possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field of study. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong leadership skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a quickly changing open team environment are also required. Must be willing to travel up to 60%.
