Job Description
Recruitment Specialist Calgary, Alberta

Responsibilities:
· The successful candidate will be required to recruit for all levels of staff required (technical and non technical)
· Preparing and posting on various internet sites, the advertisement of the open position
· Create an applicant pool by interviewing, screening and selecting applicants
· Presentation of the qualified candidates to the line manager
· Scheduling the interviews with various line managers,
· Interviewing the candidates with the line managers
· Completing reference checks.
· Scheduling the candidate for a pre employment medical test
· Preparing and making the offer
· Accurate tracking of all applicants is required.
· Create a daily/weekly/monthly spreadsheet report detailing all recruitment initiatives.
· Responsible for ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed correctly, prior to submitting to the payroll department. Go through employee packages and orientation process (as applicable) with candidates and help them complete if necessary.

Qualifications:
· Bachelors with concentration in Human Resources/Recruiting
· Minimum of 5 years of direct recruiting experience is required with 2 years experience
recruiting for Technical and professional positions would be an asset
Experience in the Oil and Gas would be an asset
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
· Strong computer and administration skills.
· SAP experience would be an asset
· Ability to multi task and prioritize
· Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English
· Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build strong rapport with line managers and candidates
· Effective organization and time management skills.
· Proven leadership ability.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure .
