Job Description
ABB seeks an experienced candidate, who is a highly motivated self-starter with a very structured approach for its Power and Water industry related markets. Preference for the candidates who are familiar with ABB’s set up, its products, portfolios & solutions in the said sector are preffered as he will be responsible for maximizing ABB's penetration in the Power, Water and Waste Water industry. He will also seek out and develop opportunities in Arabian Peninsula, Gulf & Pakistan and lead Sales and Marketing activities in the region.
Tasks and responsibilities:

Pursue project information, identify opportunities, Develop, Implement and follow up on strategic sales plans
Conduct customer presentations, Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts and market plans, monitor and evaluate on market activities and trends.
Responsible for proper interfaces to internal divisions and business units, external public and private customers, consultants, financers, consortium partners and other authorities related to the Power and Water industries.
Interpretation of the customer's specification and development of viable solutions.
Provide integrated solutions for Power and Water industry (Service and Greenfield)

Job requirement:

Achieve regional business unit’s objectives by offering solutions for projects in Power Generations and Water Industries.
Building and maintaining relationships with customer, associate partners and other decision makers.
Continuous managing of project list and delivering of inputs for the business planning process. Ensure personnel follow process, procedures, and tools.
Support for business development / forecast in related sales region by providing regular input of business, customer, market-industry and competitor information.
Shall be responsible for opportunity identification, evaluation and strategy development.
Shall assume strategic, technical and commercial responsibility for quotes, ensure that quotes are created with the help of specialist departments on time and in compliance with clients’ requirements, conduct negotiations up to the conclusion of contracts.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with others to develop business
Self discipline to work effectively and consistently with limited supervision
Dedication to personal development via self-study
