Business Unit Overview Business Services provides Exelon and its subsidiaries with financial, human resource, legal, information technology, supply management and corporate governance services. Job Description PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Manages and conducts the components of the Corporate Capital Governance process including Capital Approval, Capital Allocation, and Capital Control. Performs economic evaluations for significant Exelon Power investment opportunities and capital optimization studies. Designs, develops and implements standards for financial evaluation. Acts as a mentor for Operating Company project evaluation analysts.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manages the review of proposed capital and commitment projects subject to the Exelon Capital Approval Process (ECAP). Conducts and/or reviews financial analyses for ECAP-level capital and commitment projects (e.g., measure NPV and IRR, calculate EPS, perform risk assessment, etc).

Leads the Capital Review Committee (CRC) cross-functional corporate review process for ECAP-level projects.

Designs, develops and documents standards and guidelines for financial evaluation, including the valuation methodology and financial parameters to be used in the assessment of capital and commitment projects.

Acts as a mentor for Operating Company project evaluation analysts. Supports the Exelon Project Evaluation Community education efforts.

Supports the execution of the Portfolio Capital Allocation Process, the identification and implementation of process improvements and the maintenance of the related Management Model documents. Performs benchmarking and other quantitative analyses to aid in the identification and implementation of appropriate capital spend levels for business units. Prepares recommendation for senior management approval.

Performs economics evaluations for significant Exelon Power investment opportunities and capital optimization studies.

Supports the execution of the Corporate Capital Control process, the identification and implementation of process improvements and the maintenance of the related Management Model documents. Prepares summary reports for management reporting. Monitors the spend for ECAP-level projects at a high level to ensure spending is within approval limits. Establishes and manages the schedule for post-implementation review of ECAP-level capital and commitment projects. Leads CRC review of business unit¿s post-implementation appraisals (PIA). Prepares annual PIA summary report for senior management.

Supports the periodic review and updating of the corporate and business unit delegation of authorities (DOAs). Provides guidance to business units on interpretation of the DOA.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
MBA or other relevant advanced degree, or significant relevant work experience.
Over 8 years of relevant experience in forecasting, business modeling or other business analysis function.
Experience interacting and communicating across functional areas as well as diverse business units.
Ability to communicate and present ideas at senior management level.
