Job Description

--During Tendering under the leadership of the Sales Manager;

· Support tender Risk Review by providing any regional or customer /consultant specific commercial feedback from previous Projects.
· Review tender programmes to ensure all customer obligations are included as milestones.

--During Project Start Up under the leadership of the Project Manager;

· Take over tender Risk Review, complete Contract Review and prepare Contract summary wall chart.
· Facilitate the preparation of a Project Specific Commercial Strategy.
· Prepare a schedule of Contract commercial documentation deliverables.
· Present the key Contract provisions and Commercial Strategy to the Project team in a Commercial kick off meeting.
· Input Contract summary into STECO/project review report.
· Support the establishment of any internal consortium agreements.
· Support to the Customer Project Kick off meeting to ensure effective Contract management and communication arrangements are established.
· Preparation of Project specific procurement conditions for third parties
· Preparation and communication of Project specific insurance procedure that details how claims should be notified and managed.
· Ensure Contract Management roles and responsibilities are clearly defined within the Project environment.
· Support the establishment and approval of a Contract Programme to ensure a critical path through customer milestones and the preservation of ABB float by increasing commissioning and testing durations.
· Support the establishment of a common data management environment for the Project.

--During Project execution under the leadership of the Project Manager;

· Support in all contractual issues with the Customer, external partners and major suppliers.
· Ensure that Notices or claims from the Project to the customer, external partners or third parties are promptly made in accordance with the requirements of the Contract/Sub Contract.
· Actively document and pursue variations/claims through the recovery of all schedule/cost entitlements and defend the projects interests against claims from customers, external partners or third parties.
· Support to commercial negotiations.
· Ensure proper records to support the Contracts Management process are maintained by the Project and that correspondence of a commercial nature is replied to quickly in the interests of the Project.
· Support to the resolution of any external disagreements or disputes.
· Input to customer monthly reports and programme updates.
· Input to STECO reviews and the reporting of claim/variation status.
· Support to the commercial close out of the Project and the recording of lessons learnt.
