Job Description

Responsible for supervising HR Leave Specialists, Contractors to ensure quality of the integrated disability processes.   Work closely with Employees, Business Unit Leaders, Human Resources, Legal, Safety, and Third Party Administrators to implement leave benefits.   

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Supervise the HR Leave Specialist and Contractors providing direction and training for all leave benefits.
2. Establish a strategic partnership with business units to advise, counsel and assure consistent implementation of leave policies.
3. Coordinate payments and polices with third party administrators.
4. Provide continuous training and process improvement for management of leave benefits.
5. Support Company sponsored organizations.   
6. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

A minimum of three years in disability claims management or equivalent supervisory experience working with workers’ compensation, sick leave, long term disability and FMLA leave.   Certification in PHR, SPHR or CPDM preferred.
