Job Description
Mission :
You will support R & D in the following areas:
  • Development of disciplines and technologies applicable to portable Ge detectors for use in well logging, portable gamma spectroscopy, and homeland security NID applications.
  • Cryocooler technologies
  • UHV detector chamber technologies
  • Noise mitigation (electrical,acoustical, and mechanical vibration)
  • Mechanical and thermal cryostat design
Moreover you will contribute to the activities related to the CANBERRA Germanium Detector product line.

PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related area, with practical, applied, or engineering experience in electro-mechanics and thermodynamics
You must hold a PhD (or be close to the end of the PhD)
You are willing to start and build your career as a professional in an industrial environment
An previous experience in the cryogenics, vacuum physics, and Finite Element Analysis is a plus
Location : Based in Lingolsheim (France)
