THIS IS AN INTEREST POSTING, A POTENTIAL POSITION MAY BECOME AVAILABLE WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH. As a key member of the credit organization, this position will require a thorough understanding of the corporate credit function amongst all lines of PSEG’s businesses. This job requires an extremely detailed oriented individual, whom will be responsible for the preparation of internal and external credit reporting. The reporting will include but not be limited to: creating, generating and distributing daily and weekly credit reports both at the business unit level and Corporate, SEC report, S&P liquidity and management ad hoc reports. The candidate will coordinate the review of disclosures with internal SEC reporting, legal and management. The job requires that all reports are timely and accurately compiled and distributed to credit team and management. The candidate will work with management to facilitate the controlled growth and expansion of PSEG’s businesses to ensure the reports reflect such growth which shall include generating innovative ideas and challenge the status quo. Develop and prepare all daily & weekly credit reports at the business unit and corporate level. Manage and improve all credit reporting. Manage, train and develop the credit team members. Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end sec reporting & reserves. Coordinate and prepare quarterly S&P liquidity survey. Identify, evaluate and update internal controls associated with reporting. Participate in any developmental software proposal efforts. Required Qualifications: -Bachelors in Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics or relevant degree with work experience in the credit area. -3-5 years direct energy experience may be considered in lieu of degree. -Minimum 2-5 years of experience in energy credit or IT. -Proficient in all Microsoft Office Tools including exceptional Excel and Powerpoint skills, ZaiNet and SPlus. -Ability and willingness to be flexible with work schedule to accommodate the business needs. -Knowledge of credit fundamentals i.e. credit risk management concepts - including MtM calculation and credit exposure. -Extremely detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Good problem solving and decision making ability. -Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple duties. Competencies: -Highly developed interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate at all levels. -Project people and management skills are required. -Ability to work as a dedicated team member required. -Ability to prioritize and deliver quality results within time constraints. Desired Qualifications: -Computer Science degree -SPlus -MBA and/or CFA. | |
