Job Description

ABB Information Systems Delivery Center located in Krakow, Lodz and Elbląg is looking for a IS Infrastructure & Operation Director to take charge of development and implementation of domestic IS Infrastructure strategy and management of IS services related to infrastructure and operation.

Your tasks:
• based on local and global business plans as well as regional IS organization policy ensure the formulation of IS infrastructure development strategy for the ABB Group in Poland
• ensure the provision of IS services through internal resources or external service providers
• optimize of IS services’ efficiency and costs
• manage the department of around 25 employees, spread in different localizations
• develop IS personnel competences
• contribute to the IS system security by monitoring the abidance by security standards and procedures
• cooperate in the implementation of business projects by providing IS resources and knowledge

The requirements:
• master degree or equivalent qualification (desired IT educational background)
• min. 5 years experience in a similar role in distributed team
• project management experience
• fluency in English, obligatory Polish
• mobility and flexibility
• customer-oriented team player with intercultural competence
• strong problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and social skills
