Responsibilities The main responsibilities of this position is the management, commercial and customer aspects of assigned projects, including: · Work in accordance with ABB procedures using applicable tools · Participate in Project Sales / Review Customers’ specifications · Examine new contracts to ensure adherence to terms/conditions and specifications · Book contracts · Serve as prime interface with customers and project participants, on all contractual matters · Build and maintain ABB / Customer relationship / Ensure Customer satisfaction · Plan projects / Establish schedules · Assess / Manage project Risk and Opportunities · Assign work consistent with objectives · Manage/lead project team to ensure project success and team spirit · Ensure quality/continuous performance · Monitor / analyze/report contract performance · Manage / Review change requests, prepare quotes/implement changes, with support form technical and other staff as required · Resolve disputes over back charges, delays, warranties, etc. · Review/coordinate information flow internally, to/from vendors and to/from customers · Report opportunities and problems to management · Decide on/implement actions to fully explore all possibilities and eliminate/minimize problems · Ensure that schedules are met · Control contract documents · Conduct meetings to exchange information on assigned projects/resolve problems · Manage / Document employee performance, make recommendations to line management · Manage and co-ordinate site activities, commissioning schedules, commissioning engineers in co-operation with Commissioning Manager and approval process. · Manage and record COPQ. · Contract management and reaching PAC status. Authority · Reporting to Operations Manager · Authorized to make project related decisions in terms of customer interface, ABB interface, design and engineering interface, procurement, logistics, commissioning activities. Must take overall control of project, scheduling, risk and financial management. · Will be held accountable for technical, commercial and contractual implications on the project. Experience and Qualifications · Minimum of 5 years experience in managing projects · Bachelor’s Degree · Certified Project Manager
