Job Description
1) Mission Statement
D evelop a strategy to position and sell the products manufactured in SLP in the domestic and International markets and sell the whole TR portfolio in the Mexican and CAM markets.
2) Main Accountabilities.
Achieve the annual Orders budget for the BU. Budgets will be established for multiple ABB factories around the globe and the incumbent is responsible to achieve the Orders budget for each factory and product.
Develop the market strategy for ABB transformers in MX to achieve the annual growth targets
Establish appropriate sales channels for each customer segment
Coordinate with the sales channels to implement the marketing strategy.
Manage the quotation process.
Promote and sell the TR portfolio in MX & CAM
Manage the customer relationship to develop long-term agreements and expand ABB´s market share
Prepare the promotion material for the TR portfolio in MX and CAM
Position the transformer products manufactured in MX in the global market
Develop and promote the TR Value Proposition in order to achieve the orders margin targets set by the BU and factories.
Develop system of obtaining and maintaining competitive and market information in a fully compliant manner.
Full compliance with all ABB and legal requirements
3) Strategy development and execution:
Development of the marketing & sales strategy for the BU to achieve the aggressive growth targets
Creation of the strategy to position ABB transformers in the Mexican market
Develop channel strategy for each customer segment
4) Performance targets: Orders Received Total, Orders by factory and product, Sales cost
Customer Satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) tool, Market Knowledge
5) Management:
Lead the marketing organization to provide the highest level of responsiveness to customer requests. Coordinate actions of the various sales channels/organizations to implement a clear marketing strategy. Be an effective link to the various ABB factories and marketing organizations around the globe.
6) Challenges
Develop a clear value proposition for ABB transformers in Mexico. Since ABB does not manufacture in MX, this will require an in-depth understanding of each market segment and what values are key to those customers to overcome the lack of local production content.
ABB has a very low participation in the MX market, so the incumbent must develop and implement a new strategy to compete and gain market share from established competitors
Coordination with many ABB factories to provide a competitive offering in the MX market
Establish and manage a timely quotation process that meets customer requirements
