Job Description

NAES Corporation, a leading provider of 3rd party O&M services to the Independent Power Industry, is currently recruiting for the following position:

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Field Service Supervisor has overall responsibility for the safe, efficient and timely provision of NAES's services on all assigned projects . The Field Service Supervisor performs all duties in compliance with NAES policies, and procedures pertaining to NAES Trubine Services Field Operations, and is required to meet all customer requirements for safety, project scope & specification.  The Field Service Supervisor maintains required written and verbal communications with NTS Headquarters and client representatives during all assigned projects and provides all required historical project and equipment documentation at the completion of all assigned projects.    

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Manage on site safety programs with the highest priority, to assure a safe work place.
  • Work closely with the Site Resources Supervisor to staff the field jobs
  • Assist in arranging logistics necessary to mobilized the job site
  • Maintain tool unit inventory at the job, minimizing lost, stolen, and damaged tools.
  • Ensure all employees follow departmental procedures and properly document the work.
  • Provide daily time reports, expense reports, progress reports and schedule updates.
  • Manage the cost for materials and labor to meet the budget and improve profit margin.
  • Assist sales with cost estimating and participate in customer meetings as required.
  • Represent NAES Turbine Services in a professional and courteous manner

    SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

    • Supervisory experience with craft labor working on rotating machinery maintenance jobs
    • In depth technical knowledge of turbine generators and other rotating machinery
    • Working experience in Petrochemical, Refineries, and Power Plants
    • Basic accounting skills for managing job cost
    • Knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures and scheduling programs
    • Basic computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel

    WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

    The Field Supervisor reports to the Field Operations Manager, and supervises craft labor supplied to the job site through NAES Staffing Service Company.  The Field Supervisor is in direct communications with our customer and must maintain good commercial relationships during his assignments.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school graduate w/ 10 years working foreman experience.
    • Preferably has progressed from mechanic to working foreman to supervisor level. Strong references necessary.
    • All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. 
    • This program includes pre/post employment physical examinations and drug screening.
