Job Description

The Staff Auditor is directly responsible for completing assigned audits, including the development of audit objectives, programs, and reports of audit results. Assist and/or coordinate audit activities with other staff auditors.
Contribute to achievement of Department goals.

Conduct or assist in audits in accordance with approved plans.

Adhere to established departmental standards and processes.

Complete audit work within established time budgets or explain variances.

Assist in the preparation of clear, concise and timely audit reports.

Expand auditing skills through self development, specialized training and company knowledge.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors degree (e.g. B.S., B.A., etc.) from an accredited college/university; a minimum of 2 years audit experience from Big Four Public Accounting firm, strong regional accounting firm, corporate internal audit, or business process experience is required.   Professional certification OR progress toward certification preferred (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA). Competencies include: initiative, teamwork, creativity, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
