AREVA is seeking Bi Lingual Administrative Assistant reporting to the Director of Business Development of AREVA NP Canada Ltd.
This role supports the director by performing administrative type functions - managing calendar, travel arrangements, meeting arrangements, report and presentation preparation. Duties may involve access to confidential information. Must exercise independent judgement and be capable of analyzing complex requests.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
  • Assist Director of Business Development in all functional areas -Schedule meetings, outings, and travel arrangements
    • Interface with customers with questions by phone and email
    • Preparing or supporting the preparation of strategic plans / schedules / materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives.
    • Utilizing approved proposal development methods and processes to meet client needs and expectations.
    • Assist existing PCS organisation by setting up projects once purchase orders have been accepted
    • Provide support and communication to internal personnel on behalf of the Business Development department
    • Utilise team building skills to ensure satisfactory adherance to AREVA's proposal development
Post secondary education in communications or office administration with minimum 2-4 years of experience;
Excellent verbal and written communications;
Excellent customer relations focus;
Good analytical ability and problem resolution skills
Fluency in French, both written and spoken required;
Keyboard skills of at least 50 WPM;

Strong skills in Word, Power Point and Excel, experience in desktop publishing and graphing;

Ability to attend company and customer functions outside of regular working hours;
