Business Unit Overview Exelon Nuclear operates the largest nuclear fleet in the nation and the third largest fleet in the world, which represents approximately 20 percent of the U.S. nuclear industry's power capacity. Illinois locations: Braceville, Byron, Clinton, Marseilles, Moline, Morris, and Warrenville Pennsylvania locations: Delta, Kennett Square, Middletown, and Pottstown New Jersey location: Forked River We currently have an opportunity for a Project Manager (E03 or E04) at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in Delta, PA: Job Description PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Manage projects, initiation through closeout, as assigned and within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule and objectives. Provide leadership for project team members and the Project Management process. Position generally used for projects requiring integration of multiple functional organizations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES -Manage the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule and budget of assigned project(s). -Direct the Project Team and integrate all resources. -Ensure stakeholder review and buy-in of intermediate and final project deliverables. -Provide communication to Exelon Nuclear and site management for assigned / proposed projects. -Provide development, evaluation and recommendation on contracted services and materials. -Ensure Contract Administration on contract(s) as required, including proper closeout of projects as well as post-project critique and lessons learned. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: -Bachelors degree (technical or management discipline) with at least 6 years experience, a minimum of 3 years of which have been as a project team member OR -10 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years professional experience of which 3 must be in the field of management of projects. -PMP Certification (within 18 months of starting position) Preferred: -PE Certification -MBA or financial/budget experience Salary grade may be E03 or E04 depending on candidate selected and/or possible changes in scope of job E04 Project Manager: Minimum: -Bachelor degree in Technical or Management Discipline with 10 years overall experience of which 6 years have been as a project team member. -OR- -12 years of directly applicable industry experience, 6 years of which must be in the field of management of projects -Minimum of 5 years experience in supervision or management of projects or Grade E04 Manager experience -PMP Certification (within 18 months of starting position) Preferred: -PE Certification -MBA or financial/budget experience -FLS/Managerial experience Relocation Relocation is based on business need and may not be granted for this opening.
