Business Unit Overview PECO has over 100 years of heritage, PECO is an electric and gas utility serving the Greater Philadelphia region with approximately 1.6 million electric customers, 480,000 natural gas customers, and over 27,000 miles of wires and pipes. Locations in Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties Job Description PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Develop, implement and evaluate team projects, including process improvements. Perform various assignments received from the functional area Managers or Director, including requests for financial and operational reports, data analysis and modeling, business planning, performance measurement and/or market research. Coordinate customer and/or new business activities with internal and external personnel. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES -Leads development, implementation and evaluation of strategic and/or system projects, new programs, performance measurement, market research and database management. Coordinate and report on process/project assignments. -Assist, advise, review, analyze, and prepare financial & operational information. -Actively participate with external customers, in order manage scope, schedule and cost for select organizational projects. -Assist other personnel with responses to internal and external inquiries. Prepare reports and controls assigned to specific projects and initiatives. -Develop and implement new procedures and training for new processes. Develop and implement effective business readiness procedures. -Participate in process improvement task forces. Provide benchmarking analysis. Prepare status reports to leadership. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: -Bachelors degree (business related) AND 5 to 8 years experience in EED business unit, or equivalent external experience OR in lieu of bachelors degree, 9 to 12 years experience in EED business unit, or equivalent external experience -General familiarity with networks, databases including Microsoft Office suite programs -Strong analytical/financial skills, and a willingness to accept increased responsibilities -Ability to meet critical deadlines, accept accountability of multiple tasks -Ability to interact with people of all levels -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Strong Project management and negotiation skills -Demonstrates proficiency in EED competencies: -Drives for Accountability and Achieves Results -Fosters Teamwork and Collaboration -Applies Continuous Learning and Improvement -Sustains High Performance in Ambiguous Situations -Promotes Diversity -Creates Competitive Advantage Preferred: -Advanced degree preferred Equal Employment Statement Exelon is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. | |
