Plant System Owner Job In Waterford Ohio

Coordinate the various functions and work activities of employees assigned to support the respective system. Has authority to make changes in the system as required and manage the system end-to-end so as to ensure optimal overall safe, reliable performance.

Troubleshoot, analyze and correct problems with assigned plant system (Muskingum River Plant).

Implement and assist with process improvement projects and/or related programs.

Coordinate activities of employees in maintenance, energy production, lab, coal handling or outside contractors as required.

Consult with or actively seek advice from Region Plant Engineering.

Education:    Engineering degree from ABET accredited school preferred for Plant System Owner I, required for Sr Plant System Owner.

PE license preferred.

A minimum of 8 years experience (for non-engineering degree) and 5 years experience (for engineering degree) in coal fired power plant maintenance required, 10 years preferred.

Experience:   Must have the ability to read and understand technical documentation.  Must be able to write reports in a clear and concise manner.   Must be able to communicate clearly to craft and management personnel.   Must have organizational skills necessary to maintain files and documentation related to position.
