Job Description
Based at our Olkiluoto 3 site in Finland for around two years, you will support the team leader in organising and implementing an extensive range of commissioning activities, which will include managing an Electrical Engineering team (approx. 5 staff members) in a functional capacity. Your duties will be as follows:
  • Determine areas of interaction and timelines
  • Develop and coordinate test concepts for commissioning projects
  • Act as interface with in-house engineering units and customers
  • Plan requirements of electrical engineering equipment (e.g. tools, replacement parts, workshops) for commissioning
  • Assist in organise review of commissioning documents by customers and independent experts
  • Coordinate staff deployment and oversee induction of new team members
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
  • Several years' experience in a comparable role, together with leadership and project management expertise
  • Proven track record in commissioning of electrical and control systems installed in power/large-scale plants
  • Understanding of power plant engineering and commissioning processes
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
To be considered, you will need to be an accomplished commissioning engineer - the focus being on electrical and control systems - as well displaying well-developed leadership skills and a high level of team spirit. As part of the role, you will also be required to spend extended periods at construction sites.
