Illinois locations: Braceville, Byron, Clinton, Marseilles, Moline, Morris, and Warrenville Pennsylvania locations: Delta, Kennett Square, Middletown, and Pottstown New Jersey location: Forked River Job Description Exelon is currently looking for a Procurement Engineer IV at our Nuclear Corporate Headquarters in Warrenville, IL. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Execute Procurement Engineering activities to support Plant Operations to including determining technical procurement requirements utilizing the plant design basis to maintain configuration control. Supervision of Procurement Engineers. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1)Provide oversight of commercial grade dedication, technical evaluations, and item equivalency including reverse engineering 2) Provide oversight of activities associated with non-safety related requirements and augmented quality 3) Provide oversight for the process controls implemented to ensure, design basis alignment and component qualifications reviews 4) Provide oversight for material classifications, bill of material reviews, and right parts selection 5) Provide oversight for alternate replacement, reverse engineering, ASME Code reconciliation processes and activities 6) Supervise Procurement Engineers and provide of development opportunities 7) Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: Bachelor¿s Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience Experience in Work Control, Planning and Maintenance functions at a Nuclear Power Plant. Strong communication (verbal, written) skills. PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, PIMS and Hyperion) Engineering experience Preferred: Certified per EPRI Plant Support Engineering process on PE Tasks POSITION SCOPE: -Determination of technical procurement requirements using the plant design basis to maintain configuration control. -Implementation of Procurement Engineering processes, programs and standards. -Implement material classification, commercial grade dedication, technical evaluation, alternate replacement, shelf life, Processing of special quality assurance documents, Reverse Engineering (RE), ASME Code reconciliation, non-safety related (NSR) requirements including augmented quality and bill of materials processes -Supervision and development of procurement engineers.
