Business Unit Overview Business Services provides Exelon and its subsidiaries with financial, human resource, legal, information technology, supply management and corporate governance services. Job Description PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Perform activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining solutions, products and processes under the guidance of a Lead Analyst or Manager. May assist in the coordination of tasks for subordinates. Independence level: Works under general supervision. Responsibilities include application maintenance of Sungard TWS (aka XRT), Powerplant, Corptax, Paybase and NetTrax applications to enhance overall system performance and responsiveness and to promote consistency, reliability and stability. This is highly autonomic role. The incumbent must be successful in highly matrixed environment managing client expectations, working with outsourced on shore and off shore contractors, vendors and other corporate IT departments. Working with Accenture on-shore and off-shore staff is a big part of the job. Programming will be a minor responsibility. Excellent organization and follow through skills are the must. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform, document and assist in planning work activities relating to projects, sub-projects, or processes. For Projects: analyze requirements, then design, build, and test IT software solutions in accordance with IT project management standards. For operations/application maintenance: enhance, maintain or support existing IT products and processes to the defined service level agreement Maintain engagement with business and IT partners. Assist less experienced personnel. Proactively build business/IT knowledge to provide solutions. Utilize best practices to improve products and services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Bachelor¿s degree and typically 3 to 5 years related experience in providing IT support of the applications and systems or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
