Compliance Manager, US Power Reference Code OJB50280673-01
Location Westborough, MA Contract Type Regular, Full-time
General Information Reporting to Manager, Compliance, Energy Operations, the Compliance Manager, US Power Operations is accountable for leading a multi-disciplinary team of environmental, health, safety, and compliance staff to ensure operational excellence at TransCanada's US Power assets. By providing a disciplined, rigorous and systematic focus on process execution, systems, and procedures, this position will ensure compliance with all local, state, regional, and federal regulations as well as internal policy, process and procedure.
This position is eligible for domestic relocation. This position is not eligible for cross border relocation.
Responsibilities - Maintain regulatory compliance at all operating energy assets - Audit policy, process and procedure - Identify improvement opportunities based on incident investigations, root cause analysis, and industry best practice - Work collaboratively as a member of the US Power Operations leadership team to continuously improve the business - Represent TransCanada US Power Operations internally and externally to strengthen partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, customers and clients. - Build and lead a strong, competent, proactive, and engaged compliance team
Qualifications and Education - Technical Degree/Diploma (business, engineering, science) - 10-15 Years of Energy/Power Related Experience - Environmental, Health, Safety Regulatory Knowledge - Knowledge of audit processes and procedures - Minimum 2 Years of Managerial Experience - Incident Investigative Skills
