Within ABB Switzerland Ltd/High Voltage Products, the segment High Voltage Technology is responsible for development, sales , production and service in the field of power plant generator circuit breakers and is a worldwide leader in the business. The segment is market leader for generator circuit breakers and won the “Best Factory” (“Die Beste Fabrik”) award of German “WirtschaftsWoche” magazine in 2010. As a successor of the previous Profit Center Manager Generator Circuit Breakers , we offer you an entrepreneurial challenge.

Your tasks: global profit & loss responsibility for the whole product group with a turnover of more than 100 million CHF p.a. and about 120 employees in Zurich-Oerlikon • sustainable increase of turnover and operating profit • management of the entire organization with motivation and drive • active development of the existing lean enterprise strategy and its implementation in production, office as well as in the supply and logistics chain • active development of the product portfolio

The requirements: Degree in Engineering (University or University of Applied Sciences) plus a sound education in economics or a relevant proven track record • several years of successful leadership experience in a comparable international environment, ideally in power plant and/or electrical engineering • enthusiasm for lean enterprise topics as well as a pragmatic, action- and goal-oriented work style • entrepreneurial, communicative and globally thinking personality • business fluency in German and English, written and spoken
