AREVA is looking for a Manager, Sales & Business Development, China to help us to better serve our customers and support our development in a highly growing market. This person will be employed under a local contract based in Beijing and will report to the VP Sales and Services Far East Asia. This qualified individual will be in charge of:
  • Managing and developing relationships with Distributors, OEM's, business partners and customers
  • Tender Management
  • Identifying and exploiting synergies with other Business Units in China
  • Sales management and business development in China

The Business Unit Nuclear Measurement of AREVA is a trusted provider of world-class nuclear measurement solutions. All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, speaking, reading and writing
  • Proficiency in the English language
  • University degree in science or engineering, or equivalent qualification in International trade, and can demonstrate capability and understanding of the Business Unit's products, customers' business, applications and key business issues
  • 10 years experience, including management of a sales team
  • Experience in direct sales of capital goods in an international context (including China), and can demonstrate experience of successful sales through distributors, OEM's
  • Outstanding character, work ethic and other attributes to operate autonomously in China and Asia/Pacific Regions
  • Mobility within China and Asia/Pacific Region
  • Expatriation contract conditions are excluded for this position.
