Coordinate Scheduled and Emergency outages and large projects at various locations through out RSO West Regions 4. Oversee and direct first line Supervisors, General Foremen, and Craft Sun employees in a variable work force setting with successful completion of jobs in terms of safety, cost containment, quality, and schedules adherence. Assign and monitor work force performance in a manner that produces quality results with emphasis on safety at all times.
Each of the positions in the Coordinator job family is responsible to the assigned supervisor to perform work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. Leads organizational unit activities in specific areas of plant, region, or outage/project work activities.
1. Perform varied assignments demonstrating technical knowledge and analytical techniques to solution of problems or analysis.
2. Participate in the planning and organization of outage/project work activities.
3. Apply problem solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques.
4. Demonstrate the ability to make decisions and contribute to team decision making and consensus building.
5. Perform work in a safe manner and in accordance with the System Safety Process with focus on Target Zero performance metrics.
6. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Listen and identify customer needs/wants. Effectively communicate with team, management, customers, contractors, vendors and regulatory agencies.
7. Lead, facilitate and monitor work activities of a variable work force of construction workers.
8. Demonstrate an attitude and desire to listen to and satisfy both internal and external customers who use and depend upon our work. Utilizaing skills that defuse conflective situation for Win/Win results.
9. Work with others in both supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.
10. Provide training and guidance to lower level employees as appropriate.

Work Hours / Travel Requirements 24/7/365 On call. Travel 15 to 30% of the time within regions depending on demand. Minimum Requirements Associate or Technical degree preferred. 5 Years experience in Power Plant turbine overhaul. 2 Years supervising a variable work force in power plants. Basic Computer skills required.
Special Qualifications: Coal/gas plant knowledge and turbine experience required. Must have the ability to deal with large variations of people at one time to procure work scopes and adequately put together a plann in a timely manner. Must be able to articulate the plan as that it is implemented and executed in a smooth effective manner. Plan, schedule, and execute work in an organized fashion providing optimum value. Computer skills a must. Must have the ability to read and understant written work assigments with prints and applicable drawings.
