The AREVA Reactors & Services Business Group:
The Reactors and Services Business Group combines the nuclear reactor design and construction activities and the products and services activities necessary for the maintenance, operation, modernization, and improvement of power plants. It also includes vessel propulsion nuclear reactor and research reactor activities. AREVA is currently constructing four EPR™ reactors, of generation III .

Job Description:
AREVA is seeking a Sales and Services Manager, Canada for our Canberra location in Concord, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities and duties include:
  • Direct and control the field sales and service operations of CANBERRA for Canada.
  • Directly lead, motivate, and manage the sales and service team for that specified region.
  • Establish and implement yearly sales forecasts and objectives, as well as service revenue projections.
  • Meet sales orders and services revenues plan, and develop and implement tools/actions to ensure the team meets the orders and revenues goals.
  • Establish and monitor/supervise sales and service budgets.
  • Report periodically as required on the status of sales operations and sales targets, including service opportunities and results.
  • Manage in-house sales and service support group.
  • Provide leadership, direction, supervision.
  • Provide training, implement process improvements (order review, order entry, quoting, order fulfillment, etc).
  • Business development expertise: ability to understand and recognize business opportunities and take necessary actions to grow the business.
  • Support the field sales and service teams on customer quotes, demonstrations, and meetings, as needed.
  • Hiring, termination, promotion, salary recommendations of field sales and service team members.
  • Plan, organize, manage, participate in sales and/or service meetings.
  • Ensure sales and service teams use of and compliance with processes and procedures (including but not limited to PBR, proposal process, quote and discount requirements, CRM or other tools, etc).
  • Supervise, manage in-house sales and service support group; provide training, implement process improvements (order review, order entry, quoting, order fulfillment, etc).
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
  • Business degree
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of nuclear measurement technologies/applications
  • At least 5 years experience in CANBERRA business or similar business
  • Strong team building and leadership skills; ability to motivate and work well with a team and support the team.
  • Strong written communications skills - technical, persuasive, marketing oriented writing style
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and understand the market, competition, sales history, product needs - and recommend business development and sales strategies needed to maintain and grow the market
  • Thorough knowledge of fuel cycle, lab, government and nuclear power plant purchasing practices
  • Strong personal presence and presentation skills, ability to speak with confidence and authority to large groups
  • Ability to interact professionally with high level members of customer organizations, as well as CANBERRA and AREVA top management
  • Willingness to travel

  • Advanced business degree or equivalent sales, marketing, business development experience preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate equipment.
  • Advanced sales skills.
  • Experience with proven sales management methodology.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite.

Routine (30%) domestic travel.
