Regional Marketing Manager PJM Power Market Experience Required! Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) is a publicly traded, diversified energy company with annual revenues of more than $11 billion. It has two major subsidiaries, Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G), an electric and gas delivery business, and PSEG Power, a generation business. Its headquarters is located in the downtown business district of Newark, which is about 10 miles west of New York City. We are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager with PJM power market experience to lead our Midmarket Origination business to develop, negotiate, and execute midmarket opportunities, (1 month to 3-year deals) that add long-term value to PSEG Power’s generation portfolio and to the ER&T Trading portfolio. Job Responsibilities: Work closely with the physical and commodity trading functions and Energy Operations to pursue transactions which compliment Power’s generation portfolio and ER&T’s overall trading positions. Required: Minimum of three years but preferably five+ years applicable experience in energy marketing and origination, midmarket opportunity generation, energy project development, physical or commodity trading, or knowledge of electric power system operations, experience in the PJM region is required; however experience in NYISO or Nepool will be desired. A good understanding of the players in the wholesale power business Possess analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player Results oriented, creative and innovative. Strong PC skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications Significant verbal and written communications, analytical/problem solving and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize opportunities and work well within a rapidly evolving business environment Approximately 25% intra-week travel within eastern United States Knowledge of financial risk management methods and hedging concepts Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or directly applicable experience | |
