Job Description
Immediate need for a motivated, proactive Operations and Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain our San Diego County power generation facility on a rotating shift basis: Peaking facility on 10-minute stand-by, delivering into SDG&E 2x GE LM6000 PC Sprint, natural gas-fired Woodward MicroNet controls NOx and CO catalyst systems CTG combustion air chilling system Fuel gas compression Black Start system in place to assist in restarting a dead electrical grid GE aeroderivative experience a plus but not essential if you have a strong mechanical background. Additional skills (electrical, I&C, welding, fabrication, etc.) a strong plus. Good writing skills a plus. Working understanding of common business software (such as MS Word and Excel) required. Must be able to fulfill the functions normally associated with this type of real-time job. Pay commensurate with experience and expertise; competitive benefits package.
