Manages the processes and activities of several products/services or product/service lines for PSE&Gs Energy Efficiency(EE), Renewable Energy (RE), Demand Response (DR), Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV) and other Clean Energy (CE) Programs. Plans, directs and coordinates the development and implementation of policy and marketing strategies. Develops proposals/programs and budgets and supports the approval process for regulatory filings related to EE, RE, DR and CE. Responsible for developing and launching a portfolio of EE, RE, DR, AFV and CE Programs, which may be approved by the NJ Board of Public Utilities. Collaborates with technical and operations groups to assure that programs are delivered to the market according to specifications. Manages trade ally and vendor relationships to facilitate program sales, marketing and fulfillment and evaluation of results. Represents PSE&G in various statewide initiatives and working groups related to EE, RE, DR and CE issues, in coordination with other PSEG groups on policy and direction. Prepares and delivers testimony in regulatory proceedings related to EE, RE, DR, AFV and CE issues. Responsible for evaluating, tracking and reporting of program results. Scans the market to identify emerging technologies and products. Identifies the most promising opportunities and prepares plans and financial forecasts for consideration by upper management. Responsible for achieving BPU derived targets in order to make performance incentives (profit) afforded by the BPU. Provides leadership, strategic, developmental and motivational support for a group of product managers. Directs and coordinates the development of marketing plans and sales forecasts and translates them into operational plans to achieve sales objectives and product targets. Recommends plans and programs to executives. Works in collaboration with other stakeholders, including BPU Staff and all other electric and gas utilities in New Jersey. Basic Qualifications: Required: • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or Finance required or equivalent internal or external business experience. • 7-10 years of demonstrated knowledge of business strategy, financial analysis, product management, marketing, market research, demand side management programs and renewable energy. • Excellent written and verbal skill set. Demonstrated knowledge of the utility industry. Working knowledge of utility regulation and deferred accounting principles. • Management skills required include adeptness in leadership, ability to direct a professional workforce and financial acumen. • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license • Must foster an inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity • Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices Desired Qualifications: • MBA or advanced degree. • Strategic impact on company and significant level of interaction with senior regulatory staff at the BPU. Work is diversified and complex in nature. • The position requires an understanding of new product development, understanding and application of marketing principles, such as product/program management, market research and contract management. In addition, requires understanding of the regulatory, financial and legal implications as part of the decision-making process and the potential impacts on operations. External contacts include customers, vendors, regulatory and legal. Internal contacts include all levels of PSEG management, employees and union officials. | |
