*Electrical background preferred* POSITION PURPOSE: Implement the conduct of Maintenance by ensuring that all routine maintenance, planned and unplanned outages, major improvement maintenance optimization activities are performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. JOB DIMENSIONS: Supervisory Responsibility - Up to 18 direct reports; including Coordinators and represented PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Supervise the implementation and control of all maintenance related activities, including outages, maintenance optimization efforts and assigned resources. 2. Translate the maintenance goals and integrates them into work unit process activities objectives. 3. Assess work unit process activities against process objectives 4. Facilitate root cause analysis and ensures development of action plans. 5. Promote an atmosphere of strong teamwork that creates an operational focus and environment of continued improvement of desired employee behaviors utilizing STAR 7 values. 6. Provide oversight and guidance for the development of newly selected maintenance supervisors/coordinators. ELIGIBILITY FACTORS: B.S. degree in a technical field and three (3) years of supervisory experience in power plant maintenance and operations or five (5) years experience in power plant maintenance and operations of which two (2) years are in a supervisory capacity or demonstrated team/project lead experience. Successful completion of the fully qualified Maintenance Supervisor Training Plan within the stipulated time frame is a condition of employment.
