POSITION PURPOSE: Assists the Vice President of Retail Regulatory Affairs in developing and interpreting the policies and standards adopted by the TVA Board of Directors and developing guidelines to ensure consistent implementation for all TVA power distributors concerning regulatory rules, guidelines, and standards. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: At the direction of the TVA Board, staff will review and develop distributor standards and guidelines to ensure sufficient regulatory policies and processes are in place in accordance with the TVA Act and as outline in the wholesale power contract -Evaluate and make recommendations, for Board consideration, on Regulatory Policy and Processes. -In conjunction with the Vice President of Retail Regulatory Affairs, interprets Board policy and develop processes to carry out Board policy. -Develop guidelines to ensure consistent policy implementation by TVA distributors. -Work collaboratively with TVA's Regulatory group to implement policies. -Work collaboratively with TVA's Distributor Compliance group to ensuer adherence to policies. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or related field. Training and/or experience desired. -Five to Eight years experience in a regulatory policy environment, with a preference for Public Service Commission experience with an electric utility. -Must have demonstrated skills in problem solving, strong communication and written skills, possess strong business judgment skills, and influencing and persuading skills. Experience in telecommunications ventures highly desirable. -Public Utility Commission experience also desired. -Must have knowledge and understanding of TVA, its organizations, the electric utility, and TVA customers TVA is an Equal Opportunity employer and complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding equal employment opportunities.
