Job Description
Provide effective supervision, direction and control of all Maintenance Services activities by directing and coordinating the work of the Maintenance Superintendents, Supervisors and represented personnel as well as provide direction to Site Maintenance and Modification Contractors. Provide leadership on site maintenance activities in support of all PSEG Nuclear operations. Areas of responsibility include Yard Facilities, Security Equipment Maintenance, Commercial HVAC and oversight of Maintenance/Modification Contractors. Assure timely and effective performance of assigned maintenance using approved procedures and work practices. Assure site maintenance and repair activities are conducted in accordance with personnel and safety policies through compliance of administrative and technical procedures and work rules. Support goals to maximize department ability and reliability by assuring timely and effective planning and scheduling of maintenance services activities. Perform managerial/supervisory duties, including conducting personnel evaluations, hiring, disciplinary and discharge recommendations.

REQUIRED: BS Degree in Engineering or technical field or equivalent in education/related experience. The successful candidate must have 10 years operations, maintenance or technical experience in a Nuclear power plant environment and 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience. Must meet Nuclear’s requirements for unescorted plant access.
