We are seeking an Asset Optimization Senior Analyst we can rely on to provide quantitative and technical information to the team in the long-term operational and commercial evaluation of Fossil Generation assets. You will focus is on the technical development, analysis and measurement of initiatives through complex scenario data analysis and evaluation to drive desired business results. A strong understanding of valuation techniques, energy market analysis, operational budgeting and financial statements is required to support the plants in the Gas/Oil side of the business within Fossil Generation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
• Professional Certification or advanced degree desired
• 5 years experience in a variety of the fundamental activities that support the Asset Optimization process including:
• Valuation techniques including scenario analysis
• Operational budgeting
• Forecasting
• Energy markets/market analysis
• Financial statement preparation or analysis
• Demonstrated skills in research and report writing with ability to produce results in a fast-paced business environment
• Demonstrated ability to interact and work with subject matter experts and all levels of management
• Demonstrated ability to work self-directed, in a dynamic environment 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal
• Ability to travel to Fossil Generation Plants to support management teams
• Advanced Proficiency in PC software applications
• Possess business acumen to support asset valuation and/or capital investment analyses
• Plant or other operational experience a plus
