Position Summary PPL Susquehanna, LLC is seeking temporary workers for the Susquehanna nuclear power plant near Berwick, PA to perform manual labor and assist employees in higher job classifications. Work assignments expected to begin in January and February and to end March and April Primary Responsibilities 1. Availability to work night shift and overtime as assigned.
2. Ability to observe conditions, learn methods, and follow instructions.
3. Satisfactory physical condition to perform job duties indoors and outdoors at times under all weather conditions. Candidate Qualifications Candidates must meet the basic qualifications to receive consideration. Basic Qualifications 1. Must possess a valid driver's licesne.
2. Must be able to meet requirements for unescorted access at a commercial nuclear power plant (security clearance procedures, durg screening, and successful completion of required training).
3. Basic computer skills to enter data and receive job assignments. Preferred Qualifications 1. Ability to read maps and follow directions with minimal supervision.
