CANBERRA is seeking a Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) Sales Engineer in Russia to expand its Sales team.
Job description
Reporting directly to the Russia General Manager Sales, the NPP Sales Engineer will be in charge of business activity development, primarily in Russia.
This position involves servicing a customer base including nuclear power plants and associated facilities.
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
• Sales process (from the first customer contact to the final contract agreement) for Canberra products: radiation detectors, measuring instruments, and related software products and services.
• Creation of proposals for customers and negotiation of proposals with customers.
• Acquisition of new customers and development of sales and product strategies according to the latest technical developments.
• Survey and analyze nuclear measurement activity for the relevant market segments to identify quickly market trends and customers' needs.
• Close follow-up and communication with the existing clientele to ensure their expectations are met.
Internally, you will interact with the International Sales Support group to develop sales in Russia. You will also provide relevant feedback data and information to the Product Management team aiming to a better general understanding of the market. You will provide support to the Order Administration group as needed.
• Master Degree in Physics, Nuclear engineering or equivalent: examples of universities: MEPhI, Moscow University - Physical faculty, MPhTI, IAE (Obninsk)
• 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer
• Fluency in Russian and English is a must, including nuclear vocabulary
• Good knowledge of nuclear instrumentation and its applications to Nuclear Power Plants
• Good knowledge of Nuclear Power Plants and Rosatom structures.
• High customer orientation and results orientation
• Good organizational skills and autonomy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of scientific issues (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology...)
• Good knowledge of nuclear market would be a plus
• Willingness to travel on regular basis
