Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Tender-/Project Manager (m/f). This is a challenging position with ambitious goals, involving technical and commercial knowhow. It aims to further expand our success in our business activities and to support the AREVA Renewable strategy. The Manager will be based Bremen/ Germany.
  • Support the Sales and Commercial manager in solution-oriented customer care and the implementation of sales targets
  • Proper evaluation and mitigation of the technical risks involved in the Projects under his responsibility (Analysis of the project development files, validation of the technical specification, risks assessment and mitigation plan)
  • Project work, proposal preparation, technical contract negotiations, support of Sales Manager for overall contract negotiation
  • Performing detailed cost evaluation/calculation for turn key Biomass projects in order to build the base for the binding final offer
  • Mitigating tendering risks by securing costs through binding offers from partners and suppliers
  • Builds the offer from the various inputs of the team and controls consistency
  • Preparation of cash curves, payment milestones, time schedule (Primavera/MS Project), etc.
  • Active participation in and implementation of sales strategy of a market leader
  • Internal and external networking
  • Reporting to the Commercial Manager
  • University Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, renewable energy or equivalent
  • Experience in project management and tendering of complex systems, ideally in the renewable energy biomass sector. The engineer shall have technical competency.
  • Autonomous, rigorous and flexible since the activity is a developing activity
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Strengths include independent and customer-oriented work, a good ability to work under pressure and a high degree of creativity
  • Success-oriented and enjoying working in a competitive, dynamic environment
  • Good team-player and highly committed, possession of good organizational, communicational and negotiation skills, conflict management, social skills, intercultural tolerance and high willingness to travel
